The wooden tub wagon represents one of the earliest forms of industrial rail vehicle. Favoured by many quarry and mine owners owing to their light weight, cheap construction costs and easy maintenance, many continued to be used well after the introduction of iron and steel wagons. These wagons endured a very hard life and it was common to see them dented and scarred as a result of their labours. The sample model has been finished to depict a typical tired and work-beaten vehicle.

Approximate dimensions: length 54mm, width 37mm, height ARL 32mm.
