A sheet representing a type of stone walling known as Quarry-Faced Ashlar.
Ashlar is a very high quality style of stone work, where the surfaces of the stone blocks are so finely finished, smooth and flat, that they fit together with little or even no mortar. It required the highest skilled masons to produce and consequently was expensive, typically being reserved for the very finest of buildings. Quarry-Faced Ashlar is a slightly more economical version, with only the mating surfaces being finely finished. The outside face of each block is left rough as it came from the quarry. This combination of angular blocks with rough surfaces could create very dramatic architectural features and was used to spectacular effect on viaducts and retaining walls.
 
Each sheet is cast resin, supplied unpainted. Colour of base resin may vary. Approx. 195mm long, 140mm high, 2mm thick. 
 
Can be easily cut to size using the score and snap method with a heavy craft knife or scriber cutter. Can also be sawn with care.
