This building has been created in the style of structures typically found on small rural stations and were characteristic of narrow gauge lines as well as the shoestring light railways.
The kit is intended to represent a small ticket office / station office type structure, maybe with a porter's room or parcels office, or even possibly toilets. The construction depicted in this model is timber board and lath walls, topped off with a decorative diamond slated roof and scalloped bargeboards. It also includes a pair of notice boards for displaying timetables.
This kit of detailed cast resin components has been produced from my own masters and moulds. The parts assemble quickly using superglue or general purpose adhesive to create a structure with a footprint of approx. 130mm x 75mm, making it an ideal building for smaller layouts.
The parts in this kit are fully interchangeable with the waiting room kit BK12 giving much scope for flexibility, allowing the builder to change the style of the building, as well as combining the kits to create a single larger structure. One of the photographs shows this model alongside the BK12 waiting room model.
The photographs show the parts you will receive plus some images of a test built sample both under construction and painted to show how a finished model could look.
Kit also includes materials for glazing and finials, plus construction notes to help with assembly.
Please note, the track, platforms, and scenery shown in some photos are not part of this listing. Platform faces and sleeper fence are available to purchase separately.
