This building has been created in the style of those widely used across the North Eastern Railway, many lasting into BR days. These relatively cheap timber structures clad with lapping horizontal boards made them attractive options for station accommodation on low budget schemes. They could be easily assembled, with many sections supplied pre-built.
The resin is easily worked with common modelling tools and more adventurous modellers may spot opportunities for modification to suit their own needs.
This kit of detailed cast resin components has been produced from my own masters and moulds. The parts assemble quickly using superglue or general purpose adhesive to create a structure with a footprint of approx. 193mm x 80mm, making it an ideal building for smaller layouts.
Although I have chosen the BR North Eastern region paint scheme of pale blue and off-white for this display model, it could just as easily wear LNER or NER liveries.
Pack includes construction notes to help with assembly. Colour of resin parts may vary.
The photographs show the parts you will receive plus some images of a test built sample to show how a finished model could look.
