These attractive 6-wheel vans were constructed by The North British Railway through out the early years of the 20th Century. Many lasted right through the LNER period, and survived into BR ownership, receiving pale grey BR wagon livery. This kit comprises cast resin sides, ends and floor, together with dummy resin axle guards and a preformed styrene roof. Sprung buffers are also included. Requires wheels, couplings, paint & transfers to complete. As a 6-wheel vehicle, it is suggested that a commercially available compensation unit is used to carry the wheels. The photographs show a test build model in a representation of BR livery, plus an example of the parts included in the kit.
Length over buffers: 231mm, total wheel base 140mm (prototype 10'+10')
