Constructed by the Caledonian Railway circa 1894 to Diagram 29 for churn traffic, these 25' vehicles share the same slatted body as the earlier Fish & Fowl van, but on a 6-wheel chassis which allowed an increase in capacity to 6 tons.
This kit features cast resin sides, ends and floor / underframe. It is supplied with a preformed styrene roof and sprung buffers. The axle guards are plain castings as it is recommended to use an etched sub chassis to carry the wheels (not included)
In addition requires paint, adhesive, wheels and couplings to complete.
