Slate Quarry Hut (BK30)

The inspiration for this kit has been the simple huts that were sometimes provided for quarrymen as basic shelter beside the railway line. It might also have been the charge-man's hut, signing on point or a weighbridge hut. The stone style reflects construction from quarry waste, possibly slate, but other stone types could easily be represented by using a different paint. An ideal structure for a standard gauge industrial branch or narrow gauge line

The photographs show the plain parts that you will receive and a sample build which illustrates how a finished model could look. Also included is glazing for the window and stiff card for the base

The finished building from a single kit has a footprint of approx. 80mm x 55mm.
