Platelayers Trolley Kit (PW783) - Standard gauge

This kit from the Port Wynnstay range depicts a simple push along trolley, commonly used by the local track gang for maintenance work and light repairs. Typically stored outside the Ganger's hut, these trolleys were simply lifted onto the track, loaded up with tools, pots of grease, oil etc. and pushed along to the work site. Once there, they would be unloaded and lifted clear of the track so the line could return to use by service trains.

This kit comprises a separate cast resin bed and underframe, and is supplied with brass rod for axles together with four 3D printed wheels with authentic curly spokes.
