This Narrow Gauge brake van is a freelance design intended to reflect the common features of this kind of vehicle.

The sides and ends feature planking and bolt detail together with the characteristic outside framing so typical of late Victorian goods vehicle design. The pack includes two side castings with doorways at both ends, and two end castings with twin windows. The van can then be constructed as two variants. One with the duckets as shown creating a van with doors at just one end, or as an alternative, constructed without duckets and doors at each end. A pair of steps is included, together with a pre-formed plain styrene roof section. ( for the double door version a single long step board should be fabricated)

The parts glue together easily with superglue enabling the rapid construction of the body shell. The chassis comprises 3D printed underframes, a cast resin floor, brass bearings and metal wheels. Glazing is provided. Wheels are 16.5mm gauge, suitable for NG7 / O-16.5
 The photographs show an example of the parts you will receive together with an initial test build. Final detailing such as fitting handles and grab rails is left to the builder.
